Where: The Landing main spaceNeurodivergent meetup aims to be a chill and safe space for those who identify with the label of neurodivergent.The Landing main space will be turned into a lower sensory hangout space, by implementing such things like fidget toys and low lighting, and conversation will be aimed at positivity towards neurodivergence and celebrating ourselves. Specific activities may be planned in advance, and information about those will be posted on the discord and Instagram.If you have not been professionally diagnosed, or are even just questioning seeking a diagnoses, this space is still for you.

This meetup is The Landing's most attended and successful meetup so far, and has been a wonderful chance for attendees to make connections and feel accepted in their identities.Many attendees who have expressed they are only beginning to question identifying as transgender have found a lot of support and comfort in attending this meetup. Conversations can help people navigate their own identities an struggles that pertain to being transgender in our society.Activities will be planned in advance , and details can be found on the discord or instagram. Activities may include crafts, workshops, game nights, and various other things that will be themed around being trans.If you are questioning, identify as nonbinary, do not have a label, or need a cisgender person to attend with you to give you enough courage to attend, you are still more than welcome to attend this meetup

This meetup will be hybrid to support those who are unable to leave their homes or commute to campus to attend, as we wish for it to be as accesible as possible. You will be able to attend on discord and participate in conversation regardless of if you are able to come to the in person space or not.Activities will be planned in advance , and details can be found on the discord or Instagram. Activities may include crafts, workshops, discussion groups, and other things pertaining to being disabled and chronically ill. However, if you do not have the capacity to take part in the activities at all, or to the full extent, you are still welcome to attend.We understand receiving a diagnosis is very hard and not accessible for most folks, so regardless of diagnosis or not, you are more than welcome to attend

Where: The Landing quiet spaceAcademics are a large portion of stress in many lives, which is why we want to give visitors a space to be able to body double/parallel play and complete work that may be difficult to complete on their own.Study group can also be a place for you to come by and simply relax, as doing coursework is not mandatory.Study group can range from 1 to 3 hours depending on the capacity of volunteers that day, but you are not required to stay the whole time

Where: The Landing quiet spaceCrafting can be an accessible way to relieve stress and spend time with your peers and friends in a safe space. Crafting meetup will provide materials and instructions on how to create a craft, but you can also come by and do your own craft and just be in the company of others!Your level of artistic skill does not matter! You will not be judged if you believe your work to be worse than others, the only way to improve is to come by and practice

Where: The Landing main spaceOftentimes queer media goes undiscussed, and book club aims to expose visitors to wonderful pieces of queer literature that may be able to help them and make them feel supported. Representation is hard to find sometimes, but it is extremely important nonetheless, and we want to be able to help you find the representation you need.Dates and times will be announced on discord and Instagram!If you cannot commit to reading as much as other attendees, that is okay! We understand schedules are busy, but if you would still like to come by and discuss queer literature and get recommendations you are still more than welcome.

Where: The Landing main space, or a booked roomClothes are becoming more expensive, and sustainability is more important than ever before! This meetup is meant to give visitors a chance to get rid of some clothes that they may not want anymore, and get some pieces that they will be able to love and wear more often!Another portion of this meetup will be aimed towards upcycling or repairing pieces that you may like to wear again, but cannot due to an alteration needing to be made to it. We have sewing supplies that you can come by and use to repair your once loved garments back to their original state!This meetup will also be a good opportunity to get rid of clothes that may cause you dysphoria, as it may cause others euphoria and be beneficial to both the giver and receiver!

✊🏿BIPOC meetup is a place for POC visitors to come by and be involved in discussions and crafts that revolve around celebrating POC identities and lives. It is difficult sometimes to go to meetups where you feel afraid of experiencing microaggressions or having to tolerate casual racism, and this meetup is meant to give you that safe space. We will also be able to discuss methods in which you can make anxiety-inducing spaces more inclusive.Regardless if you are white-passing, mixed race, or feel disconnected from your roots, you are still welcome to joint this meetup. Your identity will not be questioned
